30 · Remarks: The pioneer was towing a Leighter on account of a storm coming on a chance was taken to tow the leighter in against a strong running tide ebbing. The boat was unequal for the task and was taken in to the breackers , her seams opened and she filled and was badly damaged . The hull has layed on the beach in Ka Katalla ever since.
